Overview
You can configure a new Redshift account in Fast Data Loader (FDL) by using the user credentials from your existing account in Redshift.

Prerequisites
Login credentials and access to Redshift account. Contact your administrator, if you do not have access or settings details.

Supported Versions
The Fast Data Loader is tested against Redshift 8 and may be compatible with later versions.
Account Settings

S3 Bucket | String | Required. Enter the external S3 Bucket name residing in an external AWS account, to use for staging data on Redshift. | sl-bucket-ca |
S3 Folder | String | Required. Enter the relative path to a folder in S3 Bucket. This is used as a root folder for staging data on Redshift. If you want to create files at the root level, enter a forward slash '/' to the file path. | san-francisco for using s3://sl-bucket-ca/san-francisco |

Troubleshooting
You might encounter the following errors when you validate and save your integration:
Errors | Reason | Resolution | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
Asset conflict error. | You cannot have another account in FDL with the same name. If you enter the existing account name, the Asset conflict error message is displayed. | Ensure that account name is unique. You can either click Overwrite to overwrite the existing configuration with the new one, or click Cancel and enter a unique name for your account. | ||
Failed to validate account. | You might have entered invalid username and password.
