Configuring your Coupa account as a data source

Overview

You can configure a new Coupa account in Fast Data Loader (FDL) by using the user credentials from your existing account in Coupa.

Prerequisites

  • Login credentials and access to Coupa account. Contact your administrator, if you do not have access or settings details.
    For more information on Coupa account configuration, see Coupa documentation.

  • Valid API key. Create an API key in your Coupa instance and record the API key for later use. See Coupa documentation for information about creating the API key.

  • Valid base URL.

  • Access to Coupa Snap Pack in SnapLogic’s Intelligence Integration Platform.

Supported Versions

The FDL is tested against Coupa API R25 version.

Required. Enter a name that will help identify your Coupa account in FDL.

API Key Name

Required. The API key is associated with your Coupa account. To retrieve the API key for your account, log in to your Coupa account and go to Setup > Company Setup > API Keys.

URL

Required. The URL associated with your Coupa instance. Contact your Coupa administrator to retrieve this URL.

Troubleshooting

You might encounter the following errors when you validate and save your integration:

Asset conflict error.

You cannot have another account in FDL with the same name. If you enter the existing account name, the Asset conflict error message is displayed.

Ensure that the account name is unique. You can either click Overwrite to overwrite the existing configuration with the new one, or click Cancel and enter a unique name for your account.

Incorrect API Key

You might have entered an incorrect API key.

API keys are case-sensitive. Only an administrator can create or edit API keys. If you are not an administrator, contact your Coupa administrator for the API keys. See API Key Security for details.

Failed to validate account.

You might have entered invalid username and password.

Multiple attempts with invalid credentials may lock your account.

Ensure that you enter valid Coupa account credentials.
