Configuring your Snowflake Account as a Data Destination

Overview

You can configure a new Snowflake account in Fast Data Loader (FDL) by using the user credentials from your existing account in Snowflake.

Prerequisites

  • Login credentials and access to the Snowflake account. Contact your administrator, if you do not have access or settings details.

  • Access to Snowflake Snap Pack in SnapLogic’s Intelligence Integration Platform.

Supported Version

The Fast Data Loader is tested and supported against the JDBC jar version 3.12.3 and may be compatible with later versions.

Required. Enter a name that will help identify your Oracle account in FDL.

Required. Enter the username that you have configured for your Snowflake account. The username must be valid to set up the destination endpoint.

Required. Enter the database name to which the application must connect.

Required. Enter the warehouse name into which you want to load your data.

Salesforce to Snowflake Integration might fail while loading complex data types.

Troubleshooting

You might encounter the following errors when you validate and save your integration:

Asset conflict error.

You cannot have another account in FDL with the same name. If you enter the existing account name, the Asset conflict error message is displayed.

Ensure that the account name is unique. You can click Overwrite to overwrite the existing account with the new one, or click Cancel and enter a unique name for your account.

Failed to validate account.

You might have entered invalid username and password.

Multiple attempts with invalid credentials may lock your account.

Ensure that you enter valid Snowflake account credentials.
