Custom War File

Custom war files are used to update Snaplexes.

To apply patches to existing Snaplexes:

  1. As an org admin, log into the SnapLogic Manager (https://elastic.Snaplogic.com/sl/manager.html
  2. Navigate to the Snaplex list in the Shared Project
  3. Select each of your Snaplexes in turn, open the Update panel (click on the Snaplex name, or click the drop-down menu for the Snaplex  and select View)
  4. In the panel which opens the option for “Version” is available, select the latest patch
  5. Select Update.

This patch:

  • Fixes a suggest caching issue seen with Join Snap.
  • Fixes an input view schema suggest caching issue seen with the Mapper Snap.
  • Fixes an error seen during SFTP connection initialization.
  • Fixes an issue with the log4j logging configuration.


4.7 Patch 2

This update addresses resource leaks seen when using the Pipeline Execute Snap.

4.7 Patch 3 - Hadooplex Only

This update addresses:

  • The proxy parameter combination for http and https not validating properly. 
  • File descriptors being left open after validating a pipeline there are file descriptors being left open. If enough validations occur, the JCC will hit the max open file descriptors and not function properly.
  • Error during validation: Job canceled because SparkContext was shut down (With large amount of data)

This update:

  • Fixes several Script Errors.
  • Adds additional time zones for scheduled task creation.
  • Limits client log requests to one per second.
  • Fixes an Uncaught TypeError when creating a new pipeline.

This update addresses an issue where Scheduled tasks that were created or updated with “US/Eastern” time zone have been found to be set incorrectly.


Customers are encouraged to leverage the Audit Log feature and download the activity since Friday December 9th, 2016. From there, customers can filter "asset_type" to "Job" to identify which tasks may require verification. 

12/29/2016This update addresses an issue where Scheduled tasks could not be created with “CET” time zone.
