Subscription features function at the Org-level as add-ons to your SnapLogic Elastic Integration Platform:

  • API Management: This feature is an integrated solution for managing APIs within the SnapLogic IIP. API Management enables you to bundle and publish your Ultra and Triggered Tasks as Proxies using a four-step wizard. You can manage a range of API Policies, including Basic Authentication, IP Restriction, Rate Limiting, Request and Response Transformers, Cross Origin Sharing (CORs), and OAuth 2.0 integration for web apps that consume APIs in SnapLogic. API Management offers analytics such as historical API usage and performance metrics, along with the ability to view your APIs in the Open API Specification format.
  • Data Catalog Service: This feature provides a way to store data location and schema information for files in an external file system. The Data Catalog Service uses table and table partitions to store metadata information, and provides controls that enable you to manage these assets. The Data Catalog delivers the capability to query information, simplifying the task of managing source metadata within the SnapLogic Platform. In conjunction with the MetaData Snap Pack, which includes the Catalog Insert, Catalog Query, and Catalog Delete Snaps, the Data Catalog Service enables data integrators to interconnect, analyze, and even enhance enterprise metadata. For eXtremeplex users, this feature includes the Catalog Writer and Catalog Reader Snaps. You can gain visibility of data (table and column structure) stored in Data Lakes, building Pipelines that capture, ingest, conform, and refine large metadata within a single UI.
  • Resumable Pipeline: This feature enables you to build Pipelines that are suspended instead of failed when there is an error while communicating with an endpoint. You can resume Pipeline execution when the target endpoint is available again. In the first phase of this subscription feature, Pipelines are suspended when an error occurs, so that the state of the execution is saved onto the Snaplex nodes. When execution resumes, the saved execution state is loaded, and execution continues from where it paused. Previously, these documents would have been lost, and you would have had to re-execute the Pipeline. When a Resumable Pipeline is suspended, you can resume the Pipeline on the SnapLogic Dashboard.
  • Ultra Tasks: This feature provides the ability to have Always-On Pipeline executions, which typically use FeedMaster nodes to accept incoming requests to running Pipelines. The FeedMaster marshals the incoming request into a queueing infrastructure, with the messages being consumed by the defined Ultra Task, where n instances of the Pipeline run in a load-balanced fashion across the Snaplex nodes. Another form of Ultra Task is where the Pipeline uses a listening Snap, like JMS Consumer, which runs indefinitely. The Ultra Task monitor ensures that the number of instances specified are kept running, as instances gracefully complete, new instances are started. The re-start is not immediate, but completes within a two-minute period.
  • Enhanced Account Encryption: This feature is for those customers who want control over the keys used for encrypting account information.  The customer may use their own keys, which are kept in the Groundplex nodes, and not made available to SnapLogic. This prevents the customer using this functionality in Cloudplex, as in the Cloudplex environment, since SnapLogic is in control of the environment, SnapLogic would have to have possession of the keys. All account information will be encrypted using the public key in the browser, only decipherable on the Groundplex nodes where the private key is kept. All account information held by SnapLogic is then in the encrypted form and not decipherable by SnapLogic or any other third party without the key, which is held securely by the customer in the Groundplex nodes, which are in their control.
