Configuring your Google Sheets Account as a Data Source
Overview
You can configure a new Google Sheets account in Fast Data Loader (FDL) by using the user credentials from your existing account in Google Sheets.
Prerequisites
Login credentials and access to Google Sheets account. Contact your administrator, if you do not have access or settings details.
The valid Access token. The access token is retrieved when setting up the account for the endpoint. For more information on access token, see Google documentation.
Access to Google Sheets Snap Pack in SnapLogic’s Intelligence Integration Platform.
Supported Versions
The FDL is tested against Google Sheets API version 4.
Account settings

Select Schema | dropdown | Choose the schema name (table) you want to use as your data source. | Sheets_TI (21 tables) |
Troubleshooting
You might encounter the following errors when you validate and save your integration:
Error | Reason | Resolution |
---|---|---|
Asset conflict error. | You cannot have another account in FDL with the same name. If you enter the existing account name, the Asset conflict error message is displayed. | Ensure that the account name is unique. You can either click Overwrite to overwrite the existing configuration with the new one, or click Cancel and enter a unique name for your account. |
Failed to validate account. | You might have entered invalid username and password. Multiple attempts with invalid credentials may lock your account. | Ensure that you enter valid Google account credentials. |
