Use this template to document an account type ONLY IF there are more than three account types. Document each account type to be documented separately. Maintain them as child pages of the main Accounts page. Remove Prerequisites, Limitations, and Troubleshooting from the main Accounts page if using this template.

Overview

Provide an overview of the account type.

Use this Account type to connect Workday Snaps with data sources that use Workday Accounts.

Prerequisites

Provide all prerequisites for configuring the account type or use 'None.' if there are no prerequisites.

Host, Version and Tenant can be found out by following any of these simple steps:

  1. You can first contact your Workday Security Administrator or your Implementation Partner.
  2. If you have access to your Workday Customer Portal, you can get information from there.
  3. If you have access to the Workday Community, you can access the Workday Data Centers page from where its three data centers are listed. (AshburnPortland and Dublin). You need Workday Community access for this.
  4. Another easy way of finding this is through a RAAS (Report As A Service)
    1. Create an Advanced Report that is Web Service Enabled.
    2. From the Related Actions for the Report, click on Web Services > View URLs.
    3. Copy the Workday XML URL. It contains the host-prefix, tenant name, and user name and follows the syntax:
      https://<host-prefix>.workday.com/ccx/service/customreport2/<tenant_name>/<username>/CR_RAAS_SNAPLOGIC_READ_DEMO.
  5. Latest Version can be found from the Public Workday Web Services (WWS).

Limitations and Known Issues

List all account-based limitations as bullets. Use "None." if there are no limitations.

None.

Account Settings

Include a screenshot of the fully configured account. Do this for each account type. If the account type has fields that are auto-populated when you validate/authorize it, mention so before the screenshot. For example:  To create your REST OAuth2 account in SnapLogic, you must provide at least your Client ID, Client secret, OAuth2 endpoint, and OAuth2 token and click Authorize. SnapLogic sends your account details to the OAuth2 endpoint specified and populates the Access token, Refresh token, and Access token expiration fields using the details received from that endpoint.
