Overview
You can use this Snap to update a classification instance with new or changed values of the class attributes. The class attributes are the properties or characteristics associated with a specific class in a classification structure. They define the information that applies to objects categorized under that class in the Teamcenter's classification module.
Snap Type
The PLM TC Classification Update Snap is a write-type Snap that updates the existing classification in the Teamcenter software.
Prerequisites
Valid client ID.
A valid account with the required permissions.

Unable to start the embedded Teamcenter Adapter. | The PLM TC requires SOA API Libraries. The required SOA API Libraries are unavailable in the JCC (Java Command Center) environment. | Copy the required API library files to the %SL_ROOT%/teamcenter_lib directory. Then, ensure they are added to SL_CLASSPATH. Verify the correct library setup. |
Communication failure with the PLM TC Snap. The host cannot be connected. | The configured hostname cannot be resolved to an IP address. |

The connection failed when connecting to the Teamcenter software. | Communication with the Teamcenter Webtier cannot be established because of firewall settings or incorrect URL/port configuration. | Investigate if there's a firewall between the Groundplex and the Teamcenter server.
