We are planning to bundle the latest JDBC JAR for Oracle 19c (19.18.0.0) by the August 2023 release.

  • Pipelines using the default JAR in the Oracle SnapLogic Accounts might fail after the driver upgrade because the latest driver is backward-incompatible. We will soon inform you about the reconfiguration you must do to prevent your accounts from failing.

  • Pipelines NOT using the default driver (bundled with the Oracle Snap Pack) will not fail.

  • Previously, in a Project, you could use Snaps from a private Snap Pack uploaded to the Project, the Project shared folder, or the global shared folder. Now, if a Snap Pack is uploaded to the Project containing different Snaps than those uploaded to a shared folder, only the Snaps uploaded to the Project are visible. If you have existing Pipelines using Snap Packs that are no longer available because of this change, you need to fix the Pipelines by uploading the required Snaps to the Project.
    For example, with Snap Pack A and B uploaded to the following locations, the table describes the visible Snaps.

    • Global shared: Snap pack A (Snap A-1, Snap A-2)

    • Project space shared: Snap pack B (Snap B-1, Snap B-2)

    • Project: Snap pack B (Snap B-1, Snap B-3)
