Overview

Asset Search returns results from the Project Spaces and Projects to which you have access to.

The assets you can search for are:

  • Pipelines
  • Tasks
  • Snaplexes
  • Files
  • Accounts
  • Snap Packs

Enter the text to look for in the Search field and click Go. The type of search performed is a STEM Search, meaning it . You can sort and filter results by Asset type:

  • Proxies
  • Flows

The IIP performs a STEM Search that splits the name of the asset on Asset at punctuation, numbers, and case, matching . It matches complete words or tokens. It will , not match on partial words. Note that with the large number of Snaps and a variable amount of pipelines, this action may take some time as the index creation happens in an offline manner, with a delay of few minutes. Asset Search will have a few minutes delay in showing new entries because of this.

You can restrict your search to a certain project or last updated within a specific time range. Your results can be filtered to a specific asset type by clicking on the appropriate button. 

Each asset entry Name label has a context menu that let's you view the object, navigate to it in the asset list, see its event log or download it if applicable.

. To obtain exact results, enter search terms bracketed with quotation marks. For example, "Convert JSON to CSV" returns Assets with that exact name. 

Loading the search results can take some time

Searching through a large number of Assets can take some time. To obtain results more quickly, you can restrict the search to a Project Space or Project. You can also set a Start and End date to filter by the date and time Assets were updated.

Searching for Assets

  1. Click Manager. 
  2. From the left navigation tree, select Asset Search
  3. In the Search field, enter search terms.

  4. Optionally, from the dropdown, select a Project Space or a Project in which to search.

  5. Optionally, click an Asset type to filter results.
  6. Optionally, select a Start and End date.
  7. Click Go.

In the results table, you can:

  • Sort columns by clicking them.
  • Click an Asset name to access a dropdown menu of options. Some Assets include a Download option.

  • Manage search results by selecting the number of results per page.
  • Page forward and back through results or go to a specific page.
