The Accounts page lets you create and store account access information for your Snap connections.

Accounts are created for a project in Manager.

  • If you have the project level selected on the left, when you click the Create (+) button, select Account, then the account type you want to add.
  • If you have the Account level selected under a project, when you click the Create (+) button, select the account type you want to add.

Once an account is created, the information can be accessed by a Snap from the Accounts tab of its info box. Only accounts of the same category (binary or document) as the Snap are displayed on this tab.

On the Accounts page within a project in Manager, you can see the account name, type, when it was created and by whom, and who last updated it. Hover over the account name to get access to the context menu. From there, you have access to view the account's activity log to see when it was created or modified.

See the specific Snap Pack documentation for information on how to create the appropriate account. To migrate accounts from one org to another, refer to Migrating Accounts.

Of the different defined grant types of OAuth2, only auto-refreshing accounts used with Authorization Code (web server) flow is fully supported in SnapLogic.

Avoid changing account credentials while Pipelines using them are in progress. Doing so may lead to unexpected results, including locking the account.
