Overview
You can use this Snap to add a new item or revision to the Teamcenter software bill of materials (BOM) structure based on the specifications of an input JSON document.
Snap Type
The Teamcenter PLM TC BOM Structure Add Snap is a Write-type Snap that writes JSON input documents to the Teamcenter software.
Prerequisites
Valid client ID.
A valid account with the required permissions.

Asterisk ( * ): Indicates a mandatory field.
Suggestion icon (): Indicates a dynamically populated list based on the configuration.
Expression icon ( ): Indicates the value is an expression (if enabled) or a static value (if disabled). Learn more about Using Expressions in SnapLogic.
Add icon ( ): Indicates that you can add fields in the field set.
Remove icon ( ): Indicates that you can remove fields from the field set.
Upload icon ( ): Indicates that you can upload files.

Troubleshooting

The required SOA API Libraries are unavailable in the JCC (Java Command Center) environment. | Copy the required API library files to the %SL_ROOT%/teamcenter_lib directory. Then, ensure they are added to SL_CLASSPATH. Verify the correct library setup. |
Communication failure with the Teamcenter PLM TC Snap. The host cannot be connected. | The configured hostname cannot be resolved to an IP address. |

The connection failed when connecting to the Teamcenter software. | Communication with the Teamcenter Webtier cannot be established because of firewall settings or incorrect URL/port configuration. | Investigate if there's a firewall between the Groundplex and the Teamcenter server.
