Snaps Catalog

As the building blocks of a Pipeline, Snaps perform a single complete function, such as reading, writing, or transforming data. SnapLogic Designer displays the Asset Palette on the left side of the Canvas, freeing up additional space for your Pipelines.

The Snaps catalog is a centralized repository that lists and organizes Snaps—modular, reusable connectors or components used in data integration pipelines.

Key Features of the Snaps Catalog

  1. Comprehensive Library: Features a collection of pre-built Snaps designed for a variety of systems, including databases like MySQL and Oracle, cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, applications including Salesforce and Workday, as well as protocols like REST, SOAP, and FTP.

  2. Categorization: Snaps are organized based on their functionality, which includes categories such as data transformation, application integration, and analytics.

  3. Reusability: Users can leverage Snaps to quickly design integration workflows without writing custom code.

  4. Updates and Additions: The Snap catalog is regularly updated to include new Snaps or enhancements to existing ones, keeping it aligned with evolving business needs.

  5. Custom Snaps: In addition to pre-built Snaps, SnapLogic allows organizations to create and deploy custom Snaps for specific requirements.

To search for Snaps:

🆕 Try out the Snaps Catalog Trial Feature

The Snap Catalog's Trial feature lets you view and explore the latest Snaps available on the SnapLogic Platform. Contact SnapLogic CSM to request a subscription to this feature. After subscribing, you can select the checkbox See add-on Snap Packs to view them alphabetically.

Benefits of Trial Snaps

To provide users with the ability to try and evaluate the latest Snaps and Snap Packs that have been integrated into the SnapLogic Platform, which is not enabled by default within the application. This will enable you to check your requirements and discover more features added to the SnapLogic Platform.

View and enable the Trial for Snaps

  1. Log in to SnapLogic Designer. When you subscribe to the Snap Trial feature, you can view the See add-on Snap Packs option.

  2. Select the See add-on Snap Packs checkbox to view the latest Snap Packs.

  3. The Snap Packs are not enabled by default. To explore the new Snap Packs or Snaps, click the Request trial link.

  4. An email notification is sent to the Org admin and CSM of the customer Org. You will receive a Trial request sent notification that the request has been sent.

  5. After the Trial is enabled, you can view the Snap Packs and Snaps in the catalog similar to existing Snaps and try our their functionality. To Unsubscribe or to extend the Trial period contact SnapLogic CSM.
