Overview

You must

configure SnapLogic Account

create a Coupa account to connect to data sources that you want to use in your Pipelines. You can configure your Coupa account

instance. Otherwise, you will not be able to use the Coupa Snap pack. If you do not have a Coupa account, reach out to your administrator.

    Creating a Coupa Account

    You can configure your Coupa account in SnapLogic by using either the Designer or Manager.

    Configuring Coupa Accounts Using SnapLogic Designer

    Drag

  • Click the Account tab.

  • Click Add Account, select the account type, and enter the required Coupa account details. See Account Settings for details.

  • Optionally, enter additional information related to this

    its settings. Click the Account tab. You can now use an existing account or create a new one.

    Selecting an existing account

    SnapLogic organizes and displays all accounts to which you have access, sorted by account type and location. To select an existing account:

    1. In the Account tab, click the expand icon (blue star) to view the accounts to which you have access, and select the account that you want to use.

    2. Click the Save icon (blue star) .

    1. In the Account tab, click Add Account below the Account Reference field.

    2. Select the Location where you want to create the account, select the Account Type, and click Continue. The Add Account dialog window associated with the account type is displayed.

    3. Enter the required account details and click Apply. For detailed guidance on how to provide information required for each account type, refer to Coupa OAuth2 Account and Coupa Dynamic OAuth2 Account.

    4. Click Validate to verify the account, if the account type supports validation.

    5. Click Apply to complete configuring the Coupa account.

    Enter additional information about this account in the Notes field of the Info tab.

  • Click Apply to save and apply the Coupa account to the Pipeline.
  • Using SnapLogic Manager

    Navigate to the project and click Create > 

    This will help you – and other users – understand the purpose of the account, especially if there are multiple accounts of the same type.

    Configuring Coupa Accounts Using SnapLogic Manager

    You can use Manager to create accounts without associating them immediately with Pipelines.

    Accounts in SnapLogic are associated with projects. You can use accounts created in other projects only if you have at least Read access to them.

    1. In the left pane, browse to the project where you want to create the account and click (blue star) > Account Coupa, followed by the appropriate account type.

  • In Settings, enter the required Coupa account details. See Account Settings for details.

  • Optionally, enter additional information related to this account in the Notes field of the Info tab

    Required. The API key associated with the Coupa instance. These keys are created in the Coupa console. To retrieve the API key for your account, login to your Coupa account and go to Setup > Company Setup > API Keys.

    • API keys are case-sensitive.
    • Only an administrator can create/edit API keys. If you are not an administrator, contact your Coupa administrator for the API keys. See API Key Security for details.
