Overview

You must configure Oracle accounts to enable Oracle Snaps to connect to Oracle instances.

The Oracle Account has the following account types:

Configuring Oracle Accounts

You can configure Oracle accounts in SnapLogic using either the Designer or Manager.

Using SnapLogic Designer

Log in to Snaplogic to open the Designer.

Drag an Oracle Snap to the

canvas.

Select the location where you want to create the account, and then select the account type.
Click Continue to open the account Settings.

Select the account that you want to use from the Account Reference drop-down list, or click Add Account to create a new account.

The account types that are compatible with the selected Snap appear under Account Type. For details about Snaps and compatible Account types, see Snap Compatibility

 tab. You can now either use an existing account or create a new one.

  1. Click the Image Added icon to view the accounts to which you have access and select the account to use.

Configuring a new account

  1. Click Add Account in the Account Reference dialog.

  2. Select the Location to create the account, select the account type, and click ContinueThe Add Account dialog associated with the account type appears.

  1. Enter the required account details. For detailed guidance on how to provide information associated with to configure each account type, use click the following links:

    Enter additional information on this account in the Notes field of the Info tab to guide other users of this account, especially if there are multiple accounts of the same type.


  2. Click Validate to verify the account information, if applicablethe account type supports validation. 

  3. Click Apply to complete configuring the Oracle the Oracle account.

Using SnapLogic Manager

Log in to SnapLogic. Click the Manager tab.
Navigate to the project with

Use Manager to create accounts without associating them immediately with specific SnapLogic Pipelines.

Note

Accounts in SnapLogic are associated with projects. You can use accounts created in other projects only if you have at least Read access to them.

Avoid updating the
  1. In the left pane, browse to the project in which you want to

    associate

    account and click CreateAccount Orcle, followed by the appropriate account type.

    Click Apply to complete configuring the Oracle account.

  1. Repeat the steps numbered 3 through 5 in Configuring a new account above.

    Avoid updating account credentials while Pipelines using
