Creating a Dedicated Snaplex for Ultra Pipelines
As a best practice, we recommend that you create a dedicated Snaplex to run your Ultra Pipelines. Â
To create a Snaplex:
- In SnapLogic Manager, go to your project folder, click , and from the drop-down menu, select Snaplex.
- On the Settings tab of the Create Snaplex dialog, enter the following information:
- Name: Enter the name for this Snaplex.
- Location: Select Groundplex.
- Environment: Enter the name of your environment.
- Version: Select the Snaplex version on which the target Pipelines run.
- Email addresses for notifications: Enter multiple email addresses.
- Load balancer: Leave this field blank.Â
- Ultra load balancer: Enter the FeedMaster hostname.
- On the Node Properties tab, enter the following information:
- Maximum slots: Enter the maximum number of Snaps (slots) used in Pipelines intended for this Snaplex.
- Reserved slot %: Enter the percentage of Snaps needed for interactive Pipeline operations.
- Maximum memory %: Enter as a percentage the memory threshold for nodes executing pipelines. Only nodes below this value are considered for Pipeline executions.
- Heap max size: Enter maximum heap size Java Virtual Machine (JVM). The Default is Auto.
- HTTP Interface: Choose from where Snaplex node accepts HTTP network connections.
- HTTP Port: Enter from where Snaplex node listens to HTTP connections.
- HTTPS Port:Â Enter from where Snaplex node listens to HTTPS connections.
- Restart Max Wait time: Select either Minutes (in which case you specify the number of minutes) or Forever for the waiting time before the Snaplex node restarts.
- Snaplex node types: Specify the service performed by this Snaplex node:
- Hostname: Enter the Hostname
- Server type: Select JCC.
- Global Properties: Contact a SnapLogic representative for recommendations on how to use this option.
- Click Update, then in Manager navigate to the target Project where the Snaplex resides, and click the inverted arrow to view Details.
