Platform Notifications
The SnapLogic platform has a built-in system of notifications. The following matrix describes the various types of communications and their purpose.

Alerts | System Defined | The Alerts page displays a list of all alerts, which indicate that a system event has occurred requiring your attention. Event Types:

Alert and Activity Log Notifications | User Defined | Notifies you when either an event or a threshold violation has occurred. User Notifications | User Defined | Notifies target users with custom messages.
