MQTT Snap Pack
Field Snap Documentation
MQTT is an extremely lightweight publish/subscribe messaging protocol designed for use as a machine-to-machine /"Internet of Things" (IoT) connectivity protocol. It is useful for connections with remote locations where a small code footprint is required and/or network bandwidth is at a premium.Â
The MQTT Snap Pack includes three individual Snaps:
- The MQTT Consumer Snap is used for subscribing to one or more MQTT message brokers, subscribing to and consuming messages from one or more topics
- MQTT Document Producer and MQTT Binary Producer Snaps are used to publish messages to a topic on an MQTT message broker. The Document Producer is provided as a convenient means for publishing JSON or String messages. The Binary Producer supports binary streams.
In addition to MQTT, SnapLogic is working toward supporting a number of emerging standards to ensure IoT data is able to be harnessed and managed effectively. To join the early access program for SnapLogic IoT, contact info@snaplogic.com.
