You can use this Snap to delete a topic in Amazon SNS. See, Deleting an Amazon SNS topic and subscription - Amazon Simple Notification Service for further information.

Known Issues
The Snap does not generate errors when a non-existing tag is removed.

Error | Error handling is to have a generic way to handle errors without losing data or failing the Snap execution. You can handle the errors that might arise while running the Pipeline by choosing one of the options from the When errors occur section under the Views tab. The options available are:

Snap Settings
Asterisk (*): Indicates a mandatory field.
Suggestion icon (): Indicates a list that is dynamically populated based on the configuration.
Expression icon (): Indicates whether the value is an expression (if enabled) or a static value (if disabled). Learn more about Using Expressions in SnapLogic.
Add icon (): Indicates that you can add fields in the field set.
Remove icon (): Indicates that you can remove fields from the field set.

Label* | None | The name for the Snap. You can modify this to be more specific, especially if you have more than one of the same Snap in your Pipeline. Default Value: N/A |
Region | None | Specify the AWS region where the application is implemented. This is a suggestible field and suggestions will be populated based on the Account settings. If the region field is empty, then the Snap evaluates the region in the following sequence: It is a best practice to provide the value for Region field. Default Value: N/A |
Topic Arn* | None | Specify the Amazon Resource Name of the topic. This is a suggestible field and suggestions will be populated based on the Account settings. Default Value: N/A |
Snap Execution | Select one of the three modes in which the Snap executes. Available options are:

Troubleshooting

Examples
In this example, we create a topic with the Mapper Snap and the Create Topic Snap and then delete the topic by giving its Topic Arn.
In the following Mapper Snap, the topic name and other details are provided. A topic name and the topic details are given as inputs to the Create Topic Snap. The Mapper Snap is configured with the following details and output view is displayed is as follows:
After the Mapper Snap, the Create Topic Snap is configured with the following attributes and tag attributes. The output view of the Snap is displayed as follows:
After creating the topic, the Delete Topic Snap is used to delete the topic by giving the topic Arn. The Snap settings and the output view of the Snap are displayed as follows:
