Overview

You can use this account type to connect SAP SuccessFactors Snaps with data sources that use the SuccessFactors OAuth 2.0 account.

Prerequisites

  • OAuth2 client application in SuccessFactors portal.

Specify the address of the host server to connect. Alternatively, click the suggestions icon to select a public host server from the suggestions list.

Specify the company ID created in the SuccessFactors portal.

User name

Specify the user name to log into the SuccessFactors portal.

Specify the API key of your OAuth 2.0 client application created in the SuccessFactors portal.

Private key

Specify the private key of the X509.certificate that corresponds to your OAuth 2.0 client application created in the SuccessFactors portal.

Company <company id>not found.

  • You might have provided an incorrect user name. 

  • You might have entered or selected an incorrect host server.

  • Ensure that you enter the correct company ID. Note that the company ID is case-sensitive.

  • Ensure that you enter or select the correct host server and matches your company ID. 

Unable to authenticate the client (login failed - invalid user).

You must have entered an invalid user name.

Ensure that you enter the correct user name.

API key "<api key>" does not exist in company "<company id>".

You might have entered an invalid value in the Company ID.

Log in to the API center and check if the Company ID you entered is valid. 

The X.509 private key contains an error.

You might have entered an invalid private key.

Log in to the API center and check if the private key you entered is valid.
