Overview
You can use this Snap to decode and interpret S/MIME (Secure/Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) encrypted or signed messages. S/MIME is a widely used protocol for securing email communications by providing encryption and digital signature capabilities.
Snap Type
The SMIME Decoder Snap is a Transform-type Snap that transforms the S/MIME encrypted or signed messages.

Snap Settings
Asterisk ( * ): Indicates a mandatory field.
Suggestion icon (): Indicates a dynamically populated list based on the configuration.
Expression icon ( ): Indicates the value is an expression (if enabled) or static (if disabled). Learn more about Using Expressions in SnapLogic.
Add icon ( ): Indicates that you can add fields in the field set.
Remove icon ( ): Indicates that you can remove fields from the field set.
Upload icon ( ): Indicates that you can upload files.

Certificate
Default Value: N/A | String/Expression | Specify the relative path of the X.509 certificate in the SLDB. You can upload the certificate to the SLDB by clicking . An X.509 certificate is a standard format for public key certificates that securely associates cryptographic key pairs with identities such as websites, individuals, or organizations. The X.509 certificate should be in any one of the following formats:
