Email Encryption

For enhanced privacy and security, organizations with an Enhanced Encryption subscription can have SnapLogic encrypt the body of emails sent to users. An admin can enable email encryption at the Organization level. Once enabled, Org administrators and individual users can upload a public key.

To enable email encryption:

  1. Click Settings in SnapLogic Manager.

  2. Scroll down to Email Encryption and click Enable.

  3. Click Features in SnapLogic Manager, and check that Enhanced Email Encryption is listed.

Adding Keys to Users

After Email Encryption is enabled, you can add a public key for a user when creating or editing a user account. To edit an existing account and upload a key:

  1. Click Users in SnapLogic Manager, then select the User ID of an existing user and click Edit.

  2. To encrypt the user's emails, click Upload Key. Currently, only .der and .pem filetypes are accepted.

This option is only visible if Email Encryption is enabled in the Org's Settings.

  3. Click Update. The user's emails are now encrypted. Encrypted emails are locked and can only be unlocked with a private key.
